Can we read big surahs off of our computer monitor when praying?

It has been a while that I have been praying in a sitting form on my computer desk, of course, I cover the computer monitor. My question, is, can I read the larger surahs that I am not memorized off of my computer monitor using Quran softwares?

Concise answer

If you cannot pray standing, and your duty is to pray sitting on a chair, then it is okay to pray on your computer desk, granted that you observe the rest of the conditions. In any case, it is permissible to read long surahs off of the computer monitor in prayer.
