I needed some information on the Ithna’Ashari sect in West Africa.

I am a Muslim convert of eight years and have obtained my PhD in the U.K. London, in Islamic mystical and francophone literature of West Africa. I am trying to put a new research proposal together, and I am thinking of writing on the growth of the Ithna'ashari madhhab in West Africa. Please give me some information about the Shia Ithna'ashari Islamic Movement in West Africa.
